What do you spend?
This holiday season we will spend about $300.00 -$375.00. I buy lots of things on good sales throughout the course of the year, so its really hard to put a figure on it because I don’t really go and spend more than a couple hundred during the “holiday” months. I’ve already bought it little bits and pieces throughout the year. I have most of my kids’ presents bought already from the Target 75% off toy clearance deals in January and July this year. They are still too young to care too much about what toys they get, they are just happy to be opening presents DH and I don’t get much for each other, we draw names in our families, $40 each side, then the kids cousin present exchange is just $5 gifts. We will be spending less this year than previous years because we just don’t have the money to spend. We typically include one big “family” gift in the above amount. This ends up being something we will all enjoy and use throughout the year. This year it will be a GPS system for geocaching.
