Relaxing…

My youngest son has a fever and a cold. When he is sick there is nothing he likes more than to snuggle under the covers with me. What we like to do is sit and listen to some music and read together. He finds the music relaxing and me reading to him a distraction from feeling crummy. Sometimes he just lies next to me while I surf the internet. He doesn’t care t if am looking at exciting Roland electronic drums or the newest album release of my favorite artist. All that matters to him is that he is next to me and that we are together. As much as I hate it when he is sick I treasure these moments together because I know he will be all grown up in the blink of an eye.
